Can you upgrade the individual cymbals, toms and sound module later?
I’ve played drums off and on over the years but never owned a kit because i’ve always lived in apartments. So im not a beginner beginner but i’m new to vdrums for sure.

If you are still in an apartment electronics are probably your only option and Roland is a good choice. Yes you can upgrade all 3 of those things but that is pretty much the whole kit if you change pads cymbals and the module. But yeah you could add tom pads with mesh heads like the snare or even step up to the PD85 pads. You can also add any module you want down the road, doesn’t even have to be a Roland. All modules just just 1/4" inputs so you could use Pintech pads with the Roland module, Roland pads with a Yamaha module, etc. The Alesis Surge cymbals would be a pretty cool upgrade also down the road.

Maybe it is time to upgrade from electronic to a standard drum set to find the real self and music…
