Wow. Very nice. I love that song and you play it well. I am trying to learn that song right now but I am finding the snare beat very hard. Keep up the great work. Oh, do you prefer electronic kits over regular kits? Thanks

    Hey, I have the …
Hey, I have the same drums. but I should state that it really sucks because the pads are stiff and you have to also make the cymbals stiff because say if the cymbal goes in a circle, you’ll find youself hitting the part you’re not suppose to hit. I’m hoping that I will get the Roland TD-20SX V-Pro elctronic drum set because it’s more affects and more hittable. The pads on theses drums aren’t responsive of coming back up and I’m hating the fact that I have to lift it back up and gets me off track

heyy just a lil advice well not really lol ughh i acually have a roland electric and you might want to try holding the cymbal and pushing one end of the cymbal down, for mine this stops the cymbal sound just thought it may possibly work for yours

    Thanks. Honestly, I …
Thanks. Honestly, I have not found any disadvantages with the SDK7. Have been using it for little over a year now and love it. The only thing I miss compared to the acoustic set is the ability to mute the cymbals. I understand Simmons has come out with the SDK9 which has 3 programmable cymbals instead of two. For the price though, you cant beat an SDK7. I use a Simmons AMP as well, DA200S which I am very happy with.

I am real happy with the SD7K. Great sound and a LOT of built in voices. Very sturdy with a good feel. Do you remember the octagonal Simmons drums when they first came out?

Thanks dude! No I just lower the drum freqs on the EQ as far as I can which makes the existing drum part really low so its hardly picked up by the video mic. I like to try and keep it as original as possible.
