I use a Yamaha DD-65, mainly because I couldn’t get a real drum kit, and I am annoyed by the fact that the drums aren’t loud enough, as I can still hear the sound of my drum sticks hitting the pads. Any Ideas how I can get rid of, or play over this sound?...

if you’re starting drums and you’re serious…i’d go for the yamaha!! but look for something slightly more expensive…that way you dont have to buy something better once you improve & excell good luck
